1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how vøiddo ("Company", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use scrb ("Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Email address (required for registration), hashed password (we never store plain-text passwords), subscription plan, account creation date.

Usage Data: Number of generations performed, platforms selected, languages used, timestamps of API requests, IP addresses (for rate limiting and security).

Product Data (input): Product names, categories, features you provide, product images you upload for AI analysis, URLs you submit for content improvement. This data is processed to generate content and associated with your account for history.

Generated Content (output): Descriptions, SEO titles, bullet points, social copy generated by the Service, stored for your history and re-generation.

Technical Data: Browser type and version, device type, referring URL, pages visited. Collected via standard web server logs.

Payment Data: We do NOT collect or store credit card numbers, bank details, or payment credentials. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our merchant of record. See Paddle's privacy policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

Provide the Service: Process generation requests, maintain your account and history, enforce usage limits.
Communicate: Send account notifications (plan changes, limit warnings), respond to support requests, send product updates (opt-out available).
Security: Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access. Rate limiting based on IP and account.
Improve: Analyze aggregate usage patterns (popular platforms, languages, tones) using anonymized, aggregated data — not individual content.

4. What We Do Not Do

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.
We do NOT use your product data or generated content to train AI models.
We do NOT share your content with other users.
We do NOT track you across other websites (no third-party tracking cookies).
We do NOT read or access your generated content except for debugging when you report a technical issue.

5. Data Sharing

Paddle.com Market Limited: Payment processing, tax collection, invoicing. They receive your email and transaction data.
AI inference sub-processors: Your product input (text and images) is processed by the scrb AI engine, which runs on infrastructure provided by enterprise-tier AI sub-processors. Contracts with these sub-processors prohibit the use of your data for model training.
Sentry (optional): Error tracking service. May receive technical error data (no personal content).
We do not share data with any other third parties.

6. Data Retention

Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
Generation history: Retained while your account is active. You can delete individual generations at any time.
Server logs: Retained for 90 days, then automatically purged.
After account deletion, we may retain anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you.

7. Data Security

All data transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
Passwords hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12.
API keys stored securely and can be revoked at any time.
Database access restricted and protected by firewall rules.

8. Your Rights

Access: View all your data through your account dashboard.
Export: Export your generation history at any time.
Deletion: Delete individual generations or request full account deletion by contacting support@voiddo.com.
Correction: Update your account information at any time.
Opt-out: Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

9. Cookies

We use minimal cookies: a session cookie for authentication (essential) and theme preference (functional, stored locally). We do NOT use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Browser Extensions

The scrb browser extension accesses page content ONLY when you actively click the extension icon.
The extension does NOT run in the background or monitor your browsing.
Page data is sent to the scrb API and is not stored beyond the generation session unless you save it.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
