Refund Policy

1. Overview

scrb is a digital subscription service operated by vøiddo. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our merchant of record. This policy outlines the terms for refunds and cancellations.

2. Free Tier

scrb offers a free tier with 5 generations per month. No credit card required. We encourage you to test the Service using the free tier before subscribing to a paid plan.

3. Subscription Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or through the Paddle customer portal.
  • Upon cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier.
  • Cancellation is immediate and does not require contacting support.

4. Refund Eligibility — Usage-Prorated

We offer usage-prorated refunds at any time during the current billing period. The refund amount is calculated as:

refund = (unused generations ÷ total generations) × amount paid

Example: You purchase the Pro plan for $24.99 (500 generations) and use 430 of them. Your refund is (70 ÷ 500) × $24.99 = $3.50.

  • Refunds may be requested at any time before the current billing period ends.
  • The unused generations are calculated as plan_limit − generations_used at the moment of the refund request.
  • Once a refund is issued, your subscription is canceled immediately and your account reverts to the free tier.
  • Annual subscriptions follow the same rule using the per-cycle generation count.
  • Renewals (subsequent billing periods) are also refundable on the same usage-prorated basis until the period ends.

5. How to Request a Refund

  • Self-service (recommended): open Billing & Usage in your account → click "Cancel & refund unused" → review the prorated amount → confirm. The refund is issued by Paddle within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
  • Email: support@voiddo.com with subject "Refund Request" and your account email if you cannot use the dashboard.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Generations already consumed are non-refundable (they have been delivered).
  • Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or for chargeback abuse.
  • Refund requests where no completed payment can be located (e.g. failed transactions).

7. Downgrades

  • You may downgrade to a lower plan at any time.
  • The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing period.
  • No refund is provided for the difference between plans within a billing period.

8. Service Issues

If the Service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to an issue on our end, you may request a prorated credit for the affected period. Contact support@voiddo.com with details.

9. Paddle's Role

As Paddle is the merchant of record, refunds are technically processed by Paddle. In some cases, Paddle may contact you directly regarding your refund. See Paddle's buyer terms.
